Anna Estelles (ES)

Anna Estelles is a director, actress, movement researcher and visual artist. She is also the founder & director of Akar Studio & Akar Dance Theatre. She has worked in films, TV and theater as choreographer and art director. Five years ago, she moved to Indonesia to study Traditional Dance and she decided to establish her company in Java. She got involved in traditional art & culture, looking for new movement languages and other inspiration sources. Nowadays, she is focused in collaborating with different artist and disciplines, getting deep in her own style as scene director, visual artist, video artist and movement researcher.
