Social Copy explores the utopian and dystopian contours of a future in which you have digital copies stand in for you in everyday social interactions, trained on the troves of offline and online data you generate every day. When you sign up, it analyzes the language of your Facebook posts to predict your personality. It then creates a simulated version of you with the same personality traits. Your copy proceeds to start endless conversations with copies of friends and strangers. They range from idle small talk to the most pressing questions of life.
