A Survival Guide to Icebreaker

According to science, the dinosaur extinction was due to the tremendous change of temperature. We, humans, are the survivors of the catastrophe, but there’s more crisis in our life. Socializing is one of those events. You will need to find human with similar temperature as you to talk to. To adjust your temperature, you will need to drink beer or dance, because beer cools you down and dance heats you up. The key to survive in this game is through the science theories. The video talks through the social events and how the energy of Art is transferred to the human body.

Tzu-Huan Lin (TW)

Lin creates narrative videos with installations. The installation includes either painting or sculpture. His work adapts to connect different events in a way to depict the nature of art. Sometimes it’s poetic narrative work; sometimes he explores it through science, theory and life experiences with a pseudo-documentary. He uses research method as a stepping stone to study the subject. After he digests the theory, he interprets the idea with multiple threads together and shapes the core idea gradually. He always comes up with a related installation to enhance the feeling of the audience about his philosophy.
