Image Empress of the World

As neoliberalism progresses, capturing thought, sensibility and habits, the liquid multiplicity of screens replaces the common experiences by control and self-absorption; cinemas are emptied while the most intimate of us are in a mystified locus in which each one, more and more alone, designs his own image -world- looking at himself in the mirror of his device-appendage. Thus, the desiring subject is supplanted by an object of use that tries to shine but disappears quickly in the boundless cosmos of the networks as a shooting star of artifice. A choreography of selfie: the black hole of ego.
